What is Tajweed?
Tajweed is the set of rules used to recite the Quran correctly, giving every Arabic letter its proper pronunciation, characteristics, and appropriate length.
The word Tajweed (تجويد) comes from an Arabic word meaning “to improve” or “to make better.”
🌙 Why is Tajweed important?
Tajweed helps you:
✅ Recite the Quran clearly and accurately.
✅ Pronounce each Arabic letter correctly.
✅ Give letters their proper characteristics.
✅ Know when to stretch (Madd) a sound.
✅ Know when to stop and start during recitation.
